A USB Device Problem
I'v had this mp3 player for a year or two, but never had problems with it.
untill recently(maybe 2months ago) then wanted to use it today... I forgot some files got currpoted on it... what happened was I was uploading a 140mb file and my feline comes up and brushes up against my machines front end to scratch her fat ass and hit the real sensitive reboot button... now when I try to open the space on the player it use to hang cuz of getting "details" and of course WMP wants to try and open it when clicked on way to go windows media player; try and open a corrupt file and hang he system after I turn off webview in folder options i got back on the player and try to delete the file and I get this... "Cannot delete and then windows popsup a message... Windows - Delayed Write Failed. I tried formating the disk space but Windows doesnt know how and fails. load up the disk it came with and i choose from installing Win98SE drivers or WMP9 Load up the manual PDF read all that and nothing about a reset type mechanisim... Ill keep try'n the internet but anyone else come across this type of problem? I really hope this Firmware update will fix everything /crossfingers&closeeyes well it worked that just proves keeping firmware as a backup is a good idea if you or act of your god makes it screw up.
